Mobile Games are for everybody

Mobile Games are video games played on a mobile device, such as phones, smartphone, PDA, tablet computer, portable media player or calculator. Mobile Games however, cannot be played on handheld video game consoles, such as the Nintendo 3DS or PlayStation Vita. Mobile Games were introduced in 1994 and the first one was a Tetris game. Nokia was and is a big supporter of Mobile Games so that they launched the second most successful mobile game after Tetris which was called Snake. Each device comes with the technology for mobile games that can be played on them. For mobile games there various technologies in common use. Examples of technologies that are used for mobile games are text message, meaning SMS, multimedia message, meaning MMS or GPS location identification.
There also two-player mobile games. The first one of mobile games which allowed two players to game was a variant of the Snake game, using the infrared pot. Nevertheless, there are non-network applications that simply use the mobile games platform to run the game software. The mobile games may be installed over the air, can be side loaded onto the handset with a cable, or alternatively may be embedded in the handheld devices by the mobile operator. Usually, mobile games are downloaded via the operator?s mobile network.
